Can you help build our heritage collections?

1 September 2026

As Lincoln University approaches our 150th Anniversary in 2028, we have been gathering and cataloguing objects, archives, and stories of our heritage to build a representative narrative of our University for the future.

As much of this material has been passively collected, we are now putting the call out for any information and hidden items within your departments and communities that tell a particular story, reflect an important part of our identity, or that showcase the impact you and your colleagues past and present have made to this over the years.

Currently there is poor representation in our archives of items and information from more recent years (1980-now), so these will be prioritised. Items may be tools and equipment, significant research material, social or cultural representation, teaching material, student materials, etc.

If you are aware of any items of interest, we’d love to hear from you!

Please contact isabella.kerby@lincoln.ac.nz with photos and descriptions, or visit in L101, Ivey Hall.
