Guidance, resources and tips for academic staff to help enhance Lincoln University’s learning and teaching environment.
Learning and Teaching Excellence supports both academic staff and tauira to be successful.
The Manaaki Tauira Course Enhancements Programme is part of the Manaaki Tauira programme of work for learner success at Lincoln University.
Celebrate the mahi of our teaching staff by nominating them for the Teaching Shout-Out and/or the Excellence in Education Awards.
The success of a course is affected by decisions made before the first day of class. Careful planning not only makes teaching easier and more enjoyable, it also helps facilitate student learning.
Building a friendly and supportive learning environment for your students is important. Your planning comes together to support the way you deliver your teaching and how you facilitate learning.
There are several ways to evaluate your teaching. We recommend using a 360 approach as this allows you to consider feedback from students, peers and the Teaching Enhancement team, as well as reflect on your own teaching.
The LU Living Laboratory is an immersive and interdisciplinary approach to education and research where students and academics engage with partners in real-world problem solving.
Work with Learning and Teaching Excellence to shape the learning and teaching environment through a project of your choosing.
Here you will find a range of teaching tips that may help you to enhance your teaching practice. With materials updated regularly, make sure you visit frequently.
