Pae Āwhina: Where Academic Success, the Career Centre, and Inclusive Education Come Together
5 September 2025
Pae Āwhina is here — a refreshed and expanded platform that makes it easier than ever to connect with the student support services in Learning, Teaching and Library (LTL) at Lincoln University.
Previously known as Career Centre, the platform has been renamed Pae Āwhina to reflect its broader purpose. It now brings together Academic Success, the Career Centre, and Inclusive Education in one integrated system — helping tauira find the right support, right when they need it.
The name Pae Āwhina represents a place of support and guidance — a space where tauira are empowered to succeed, grow, and thrive. The name acknowledges the importance of connection and care in the tauira journey.
“Coordinating our services into Pae Āwhina is a major step forward for us,” says Dave Dannenberg, Director of Learning, Teaching and Library. “We hope it’s seamless and intuitive, so tauira can focus on what matters most: their wellbeing and success. We also welcome other teams to join us in creating a centralised portal for all student support teams.”
Built on the Simplicity platform, Pae Āwhina lets tauira book appointments, sign up for workshops and events, access resources, and engage with LTL's support services — in one place.
